FrontDash is a DoorDash-like website application that I completed as an academic project with two other students. FrontDash at its core is a mock food delivery service application complete with custom restaurant pages that allow a user to create a food order and a FrontDash home page that allow users to pay for orders and manage the deliveries.
For the development of this website application, focus was put on the process of creating the site. We used Agile and Scrum framework to ensure that the development and organization of the website was smooth and successful.
We as a development team faced a major setback three sprints into the development of FrontDash where we decided to change our tech stack. The project was originally developed in Laravel and Angular, but after major complications during the deployment process, it was decided to restart the project and use Django. After playing some catch up, the team was still able to completely develop FrontDash in the remaining amount of time.
