About Daniel

Hi, I'm Daniel, a software engineer with a passion for cyber security. I completed the dual degree program at UW La Crosse, earning my Master of Software Engineering (MSE) with an emphasis in cyber security in just 5 years. During this program, I also completed my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Archaeological Studies.

One of the highlights of my academic journey was working on my capstone project called PAMEx, where I gained hands-on experience in Linux security. This project further fueled my interest in cyber security, and I'm always eager to learn more about this field.

I have a strong background in web application development and object-oriented programming. I've worked on various projects, developing scalable and secure web applications. However, my true passion lies in cyber security, and I'm constantly seeking opportunities to deepen my knowledge and enhance my skills in this domain.

When I'm not immersed in coding and cybersecurity, you can often find me delving into the world of classical fiction, revisiting my minor recreationally to learn about ancient cultures, or playing tabletop games or video games.
