How to Play:
Welcome to Color Clues! A digital adaptation of the board game Hues and Cues!
- Players: 2 or more.
- Objective: Guess the secret color based on the clues given.
How to Play:
- 1. Setup: Choose the number of rounds and click "Start." A random "Clue Giver" is chosen at the beginning of the game.
- 2. Clue Giver's Turn: The "Clue Giver" draws a card and picks a color to give 2 clues about.
- 3. Clue Guidelines: Clues are suggested to be one word for the first clue and two words for the second. Avoid basic color names and terms like "lighter" or "darker" as well as board directions such as "left" or "bottom".
- 4. Guessing: Players that are "Guessers" click a tile on the board to guess the secret color after each clue.
- 5. Guesser Scoring: Players earn points based on how close their guess is to the secret color: 3 points for an exact match, 2 points for one tile away, and 1 point for two tiles away.
- 6. Clue Giver Scoring: The clue giver earns 1 point for each guessed tile within 2 squares of the chosen color.
- 7. Rotation: The next player becomes the clue giver, and the round continues until all players have had a turn being the clue giver.
- 8. End of Game: The player with the most points at the of the final round wins the game.
